May 16th is our four year anniversary of opening our two new additions to The Island - The Little Island & The Pink Island.

 

For the last 20 years we have spent the Spring & Summer months with our customers. The middle of May is always our busiest time of the year. It is starting to get warmer. Memorial Day, the offical “start of summer”, is around the corner. Our store is on many people’s list of places to hit for summer staple items, baby gifts, graduation gifts, Mother’s & Father’s day gifts, Belmont outfits and of course the white graduation dresses. We are usually getting brides ready for their rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and helping to plan their honeymoon outfits.

 

Like many business owners we were devasted to close our doors in March. We are fortunate to have started our online store so we have been able to fill your orders and get you whatever you need during this time, but what we miss most is you!

 

We miss our customers. We miss our wonderful Island team that has become part of our family. The people who walk through our doors every day are what brings life into our business and provides the energy that we find ourselves missing the most on our anniversary. We can’t wait to open our doors again.

 

We have been using this time to make the stores better than ever and of course spending time with our newest arrival of the Islands family, Landon Christopher, born Jan. 23, 2020.  We are sure there will be a change in the shopping experience everywhere, but what won’t change is our enthusiasm and happiness to see each of you when you walk back through our door to say hello and spend some time with us to catch up.
